UBS gives away fair tickets for under-30s and artist swag

The Swiss bank UBS, the long-time lead sponsor of Art Basel, is helping young people to visit the fair again this year. Swiss residents under 30 years of age can pick up free day tickets for Art Basel by visiting the UBS branch on Aeschenvorstadt 1 in central Basel.

“This giveaway allows UBS to share the experience of Art Basel with young audiences in Switzerland, bringing them closer to contemporary art and artists,” UBS says in a statement. The branch is also currently showing a part of the Parcours sector, hosting a Kadia Attia work called Untitled (Rainsticks) (2025).

Not Swiss or under 30? You can still pick up a free tote bag by Katie Paterson and a notebook by Olaf Bruening, two artists featured in the UBS Lounge at the fair. They will be distributed at the branch on a first-come, first-served basis from Thursday to Sunday (10am-5pm).
