“All You Need Is Love” oil and resin on canvas, 36″ × 24″

As an artist and musician living in London, I find inspiration in the melodies and rhythms that flow through my daily life. My work is a fusion of these two passions, creating a unique artistic expression that celebrates the icons of music who have shaped my creative journey. I am currently diving into an exhilarating project—a portrait series of music legends who have not only inspired the world but have also profoundly influenced my own artistic path.

portrait of Freddie Mercury

“Killer Queen” oil, acrylic, gold leaf, resin on canvas 36″ × 24″

Each portrait in this series is a heartfelt tribute to the legends who have blazed trails across the musical landscape. Through my paintings, I aim to capture the essence and energy that these artists exude, transcending their physical forms and immortalizing their contributions in vibrant colour and texture.

portrait of Elvis Presley

“Caught In A Trap” oil, acrylic, silver leaf, resin on canvas, 36″ × 24″

My technique involves a harmonious blend of acrylics and oils, creating depth and richness that bring each musician to life on the canvas. Additionally, I incorporate resin and gold leaf, along with other mediums, allowing each piece to shimmer with its own unique aura.

portrait of BB King

“The Thrill Is Gone” oil, acrylic, gold leaf, resin, on canvas 36″ × 24″

Although I have been creating art my whole life, my journey as a professional artist began with a formal education in Games Art at the University of the Arts London. The skills I honed there fuelled my ambition to transition into 3D environment art for games, a realm where digital landscapes offer endless possibilities for creativity. The meticulous attention to detail required in game design has undoubtedly influenced my painting style.

portrait of a young man

“Beyond the Surface” acrylic on card, 30″ x 22″

London, with its eclectic art scene and endless musical offerings, serves as the perfect backdrop for my artistic endeavours. The city itself is like a living canvas, its streets humming with history and modernity in equal measure. I often find myself wandering through its bustling markets and quiet parks, drawing inspiration from the diverse cultures and artistic expressions that surround me. Being immersed in such a creative hub has been instrumental in shaping my vision and pushing the boundaries of my artistic capabilities.

portrait of a young woman

“Inner Light” acrylic on paper, 30″ × 22″

As I continue to develop my portrait series, I am driven by the desire to share my love for music and art with others. Each piece is a journey, both for the viewer and myself, inviting exploration into the lives of the icons portrayed and the impact they have had on our collective consciousness. It is my hope that through my work, I can spark a deeper appreciation for the interconnectedness of music and art—a dynamic duo that dances together, inspiring and enchanting all who take the time to listen and look.

portrait of David Bowie

“Starman” oil, acrylic, resin on canvas, 36″ × 24″

In the end, my art is a celebration—a visual symphony composed in honour of those who have made the world a more beautiful place through their music. And through every brushstroke and note, I strive to contribute my own voice to this ever-evolving masterpiece we call art.
