Golden Journey: Dear Me, I love You is a projected two-part exhibition in Hong Kong, China, which will explore themes of self-love, self-acceptance, and the courage to live authentically. Hong Kong’s Mind HK, The Park Lane Hong Kong, Autograph Collection, and Parhelion Group with the British Consulate General Hong Kong, and sponsorship from Samsung, are inviting artists to submit work that ‘speaks to personal truth, emotional resilience, and the quiet power of becoming oneself.’
The first stage, ‘Self acceptance’, will exhibit 18th Sept – 10th Nov this year, at The Park Lane Hong Kong, Autograph Collection, with 30 works will be selected for digital exhibition. Submission deadline is 8th Aug, with an entry fee of HKD$300 per two artworks, with each applicant permitted to submit up to six artworks. This stage centres on ‘the internal process of acknowledging, accepting, and embracing oneself.’ Selected works will be displayed on digital screens at the Hotel alongside physical installations by artist Marigpa, (whose work is pictured) whose practice addresses themes of healing, reconnection and inner clarity, and featured in the official exhibition booklet and across partner platforms.
Prizes will be awarded (first – HKD $5,000, second – HKD $3,000 and third – HKD $1,000)

The second stage is ‘Be Your Authentic Self’, exhibiting 11th Nov 2025 – 2nd Jan 2026, again at The Park Lane Hong Kong, Autograph Collection. This time the selection will comprise 10 physical and 30 digital works, with submission deadline 19th Sept 2025. Again, the entry fee is HKD$300 per two artworks and each applicant can submit up to six artworks. This second stage turns outward, ‘celebrating the act of living authentically. It invites work that expresses freedom, identity, and the lived experience of becoming fully oneself.’
Ten selected physical works will be displayed in curated spaces at the The Park Lane Hong Kong, Autograph Collection, with an additional thirty digital works presented on in-venue screens. All selected works will be featured in the exhibition booklet and promoted across partner platforms. The prizes will again be first – HKD $5,000, second – HKD $3,000 and third – HKD $1,000.
Part of the profits from the initiative will be donated to Mind HK to support its ongoing mental health services, and alongside the exhibition, a series of mental health talks and workshops will be held, creating opportunities for dialogue, learning, and community connection.
