When young, the astounding curiosity of DaVinci and mastery of Michaelangelo triggered a lifelong desire to learn and create works of art with an equal level of virtuosity. Between the years of 1965-74, my art led to work in printing and newspapers while performing in bands on weekends. In succeeding decades I explored and worked in computer graphics and animation while teaching at the university level and attending college. I racked up several national awards during that period for my art and animation.

The work I do today has greater purpose than the commercial work I’m yet in high demand to create for others. Today my paintings that combine photography, computer art and traditional painting techniques into a contemporary form merging all three.

They address the interface of humans and the natural world to showcase nature’s beauty and beckon for a reconnection to mother earth, to save it and ourselves from our blindness to the path of extinction we are collectively on.
