Artsy Shark features amazing visual artists through stunning portfolio articles that present a collection of the artist’s work and their personal story to our wide audience of art lovers. More than 2500 artists from around the world have appeared on our top ten ranked art website since 2010. We currently need 48 artists for our next featured group.

Submissions are being accepted until the deadline of September 11, 2025.  Apply now to our open Call for Artists to be considered.

We encourage artists in all mediums, include painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, mixed media, clay, fiber, digital art, collage, glass, wood, printmaking, metal and others. Submissions from artists using artificial intelligence (AI) are not accepted or considered.

Featured artists share their best work and tell their personal story, including inspiration, technique, concept or accomplishments. A prominent link in the article sends readers to the artist’s website, to make sales, capture email addresses of interested visitors, and gain followers. We share features with our wide audience on social media and through email marketing. Artsy Shark receives no fees or commissions whatsoever for any sales or contracts that result from being featured.

Published artist features remain permanently on our site and are always available to readers. View them in our Featured Artist Gallery.

Artists who have already been featured on Artsy Shark may apply again, but no sooner than three years after their original portfolio feature was published. The updated feature will replace the original, and will be widely publicized to our audience and site visitors.

APPLY NOW

Applications will be accepted until the deadline at midnight on Thursday, September 11, 2025. All applications go through a competitive juried process. Not all artists will be selected. There is a nonrefundable application fee of $25.

This jury process includes a thorough review of each application. Please note that image files are not uploaded. Instead the artist’s website and online presence are reviewed to view their portfolio and published content. Applicants will be notified of the results of their submission within two weeks of the deadline.

After feature publication and promotion, each artist receives a customized magazine style version of their feature in PDF format to be used as marketing collateral or however they wish.

Click the button below to learn more and complete an application to apply to become one of our featured artists!
