Saatchi Yates gallery in London is hosting a very patriotic exhibition called London Rules The World (until 17 August), billed as “a full throttle celebration of the capital’s enduring impact on the global art stage”. The show includes numerous big-hitters such as Jenny Saville, Grayson Perry, Cecily Brown, Peter Doig and Lynette Yiadom-Boakye. Although some of the artists, such as Saville, are neither from London nor based in the city…

Nonetheless, London lovers can also take in afternoon tea at the Royal Academy of Arts, a Paula Rego studio tour and—wait for it—a tea-towel collaboration with the interior designer Nicky Haslam as part of the programme.

Saatchi Yates is also launching a Friends scheme which, at £80 a month, gives you, among other treats, entry to all gallery parties and insider experiences. Plus, interestingly, a case of Saatchi Yates Wine from their vineyard in Tuscany. Bottoms up!
